There is no happy ever after in this life
No, it is painted by dark strokes of strife
People have been deluded by fairy tales
And are confused when everything fails

Misfortune visits us all
Even those who abide by the law
For some its stay is much longer
Either making them weaker or making them stronger

There is only one hope to make it out alive
For only through Christ you will survive
Even then life will still be a tough fight
But in the end, your darkness will be turned into light
