On a full moon night

Contributed by sanders on Tuesday, 24th January 2012 @ 09:12:25 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

On a day like this of the auspicious full moon night
When all were dreaming with their pillows held tight
I saw you wondering along the sea-shore
Can't describe how splendid it looked

The sea was roaring with all its might
And everything else around was quiet
In front of my eyes there was this unforeseen sight
I thought I heard you sing into my ears
It broke all the silence I was hiding in my tears

I don't know what mystery you beheld in front of my eyes
I listened to your voice my mind hypnotised
I felt the cold wind calling unto me
I followed you through the waves into the sea

The way you walked turned sand into glitter
And the waves you touched set water on fire
You were some imaginery creature descended from the heavens
And you danced your way into the sky with the angels

Since that day I often come here
To have a glimpse of you from near
I still hope someday you will come to share
All those of your childhood stories that I still long to hear

Serene imagery...full moon...waves crashing down...glittery sand.
Please give me directions to this most wondrous place!
