I'm not ready right now for someone new
But in time I will and so will you
I know you have something I can't resist
Don't feel like I insist
But you know; I feel so good with you
So what the hell am I supposed to do?
I'll just lay back
Pick up the slack
It always happens with the ones I can't have
The ones I want so bad
I don't understand how I can feel this and you not feel it too.
I know the answer it's all that's happened to you
That takes my chance to show you things can last.
Your perfect to me with all the blemishes
Just let me show you my intentions
You really don't know how it feels to be with someone who's so real
But I figure I will take what I can get
Because truly your the greatest man I've ever met.
