This heart was ripping in to
When my thoughts came to call you.
Your voice soothed my shattered soul
As your gentle presence brought control.
Just to be near you eased my pain
Gave me strength to with stand rain.
Just to be near you my soul smiles.
Just to be near you a while.
As our memories rolled back time
Made me happy you're a friend of mine.
She may have the physical part
But love comes straight from the heart.
If she abuses such love true
Let me be your friend when your blue.
Till we pass through another phase
My heart will need you to the grave
