THE PELVIS

Blue eyes crying in the rain,
Baby Im all shook up.
Under the blue moon of kentucky,
A blue Christmas blowing in the rain.

My blue suede shoes are ruined now,
With stains from blueberry hill.
I need to dry them in cotton fields
In Cotton Candy Land!

I cross my heart and hope to die,
I wont eat Crawfish today.
Youll find me crying in the chapel
With my dear friend Danny boy.

I may go to the clambake,
In the Blue Hawaii style.
Ill sing the cattle call and yodel,
I hope you can stay for a while.

I cant help falling in love,
But youre the devil in disguise.
Dont ask me why and dont be cruel,
Little sister dont you tell me lies.

Its been a long lonely highway,
Love me tender, love me tonight.
Then there will be peace in the valley,
As you become my morning light.

Ill never say return to sender.
I wont say release me now.
Some say I have spring fever,
And Im girl crazy, tell me how?

Let me be your teddy bear,
And do the Tennessee waltz.
Thats all right mama,
If I am pepper then she is salt.

As long as were here dancing,
Viva Las Vegas is where I am,
May I make this suggestion,
Baby lets do the clam.

Extremely clever and sharp writing. i don't care that much for Elvis, but I enjoyed your successful attempt at combining so many titles, places, names!

Well done, Rabbie.
I'm always up for an Elvis night now and again.
