soti hu toh tujhe yaad karti hu,
jaagte hi teri yaad aati hai!

sunhari subah mein tujhe yaad karti hu,
raat ki chandani me teri yaad aati hai!

dopahar ki tapti dhoop me tujhe yaad karti hu,
sawan ki rimjhim me teri yaad aati hai!

tujhe yaad karti hu loo k garm thapedo me,
thandi hawa ki sirhan me teri yaad aati hai!

tujhe yaad karti hu registan ki ret me,
samandar ki har lahar me teri yaad aati hai!

tujhe yaad karti hu jab thak k choor hoti hu,
har nayi shuruaat me teri yaad aati hai!

tujhe yaad karti hu jab akeli hoti hu,
shahar ki bheed me teri yaad aati hai!

tujhe yaad karti hu jab roti hu mein,
hansi ki har khilkhilahat me teri yaad aati hai!

tujhe yaad karti hu jab darti hu mein,
sahas bhare har kadam mein teri yaad ati hai!

tujhe yaad karti hu jab andhera hota hai,
roshni ki har kiran mein teri yaad aati hai!

"tujhe yaad kati hu jab palke jhukati hu,
palkon ke uthte hi teri yaad aati hai!
tujhe yaad karti hu jab sans leti hu,
dil ke dhadkate hi teri yaad aati hai..."
