The Darkest Sound

A sound within the darkest night, it floats upon the air, it passes through... on gentle breeze, without a thought or care,
this sound it rolls upon the swells, and down bold jagged cliffs, and when it breaks upon the rocks, this sound... begins... to shift,
it twists, it cries, and then it bursts, and turns into a scream, and when we try to run away, this sound... it haunts... our dreams,
come walk into the darkest black, and face this monstrous sound... for even in the death of love... can bravery be found,
for only in the darkness... can you hear love fall apart, the sound that only lovers hear... the breaking... of a heart.
