Hope is a fantasy world that our minds create; My hope and the real world could never relate. Dependent upon a single hope to provide happiness; This unreachable object slowly diminishes all confidence. One minute my hope feels so close and I am at my best; Then viciously my heart is ripped from my chest. My love, my life, my future, my hope All ruined by my inability to say nope. I failed to say no to an evil that consumed my life, Now my heart has been cut by a guilty knife. Nothing but my long gone hope can heal my wounds, But maybe, just maybe, my heart will once again sing a joyful tune.
