Boots, hats, and spurs
Is all a cowboy needs
Riding bare back on his horse
Threw fields that are open and green
Honky Tonk and restaurants
Is where you will find them the most
Look for the Skull in their back pockets
or the revolver, they always keep close
Bull riding, roping, and smoking
Are habits that flow through their blood
Working from dusk till dawn
Boots all covered in mud
Cowboys love to eat
Cornbread, taters, and beans
Stay clear when drinking Whisky
That tends to make them mean
Cropping, fishing, and hunting
In the woods, fields, and ponds
Bon fire blazing in the night
Dancing to country songs
To all the city slickers
Crab a cigarette and a can of snuff
Come on out to the country
Its time to cowboy up.
