The Lost Soul

As he sits on the river bank
And his tears begin to flow
Trash begins to ride the waves
Pollution begins to show
The beast that once kept him warm
No longer feed in packs
The trees that once was his shade
Now lay in stacks
The fish he caught to feed him
No longer swim the streams
The family he once had
Only live in his dreams
As he walks with his head hung low
He looks up to see
Once where his tribe lived
Now lays a factory
As he sits on the bluff
And his heart begins to bleed
he looks up to God and says
How could this happen, how could this be
You give them food and water
And all of their needs
Why cant they stop to think
We should be pleased
He is just one man
Yet open and still free
But the only friend he has
Is Mother Nature you see
Now he must go
To where he will always be free
To the gates of heaven
With our lord for eternity
