Where Do We Go From Here?

You warned me from the start that I needed to
run while I had a chance..
I didnt heed those warnings and fell face
first into your arms and it wasnt by mere chance
Time is dragging on not knowing where we stand
I want nothing more than to be your
lover and best friend
Did you forget all that you said? Did you
forget me because I left?
This move was for my daughters sake , I
wish it were just a dream and that soon
I shall awaken
Even though we are miles apart nothing
will ever take your place, nothing will
ever destroy the image of the smiles I
saw upon your face
You brought me smiles, laughter and
even some twinges of pain, now
I feel Ive been left out in a
freezing cold rain...
You wont communicate and its
slaying my very livelihood.
How can I live without you now that
I have experienced your one of a kind love?
I feel as though this whole relationship has
been so misunderstood
Where do we go from here?
