I can feel my heart beat thru my pillow
As my head throbs.
Today has been a long nite at work
3rd shift for 10 hours has ticked away
Where the routine has become rather boring i must say!
I wonder how long until i sleep...
Will today be like yesterday?
I wish i could always play.
But soon enuf that day
Will come because im 23
And i ve had an epiphany
today ...
That my dreams love me
And are waiting on me to lead the way
To a journey far away from the normal day
And be use inspiration as my power
To fuel my days to this success that i seek
Still only 23..but i live each day like its my last
Even tho i tend to carry the past i still cast
Out into the sea of lost dreams and hope...
That im just not another foe on the hope train
And that these dreams i seek are really awaiting my rest...
