Ready to Lose

I used to feel empty
Broken inside
Lost with no where
To really confide

Ready to lose
Give in
To whatever I feel
No matter the sin

For what was the reason?
What was the cause?
Of living in pain
Only seeing the flaws

No way to win
Or understand
Just holding the knife
In my right hand

Ready to lose
Give in
To whatever I feel
No matter the sin

For what am I worth?
If this evil lurks inside me?
I must be Satans spawn
What else can it be?

What other option do I have?
How can I deny?
When to continue fighting
Im just living a lie

Ready to lose
Give in
To whatever I feel
No matter the sin

But then something happened
I was set free
Not from the pain
Just from me

I put down the knife
Picked up your word
Where in my heart
I felt you Lord

Ready to lose
Give in
To whatever I feel
No matter the sin

This no longer the case
No longer my fear
And with the truth
I shed a tear

For I do have worth
And Im not alone
For so long Ive just tried too hard
To be on my own

I forgot that you were always there
To carry the burdens I could not bare!
