Surges of fire flooded past my head blinding me for merely seconds, I recovered and sent water spilling over the flames. Steam erupted with a chilling sound before lifting from the clearing and leaving us defenseless. His eyes burned golden in the sun, his mussels expanded as excessive force brushed through his arm transferring a glow of fire in my direction. I countered rapidly ducking suddenly to the left, and directed a stream of ice towards his ankles. The ice immediately fixed him in place, he bellowed in rage, and began to radiate with power, breaking free of his confinements. Moisture fell from every inch of his figure and he beamed. Standing tall and satisfied his eyes fell to mine. They were warm with love, and he began to laugh, a sweetened chuckle that was ease to my ears. I held my bearing but relaxed my muscles and released the water from my control.
