STOP, THINK, NO I CANT
The atrocious noises of the world
demand my attention
They hearken, day in and day out
Calling my name as a child calls to
their mother
WHY? Because they need me to hear
what they say in order to exist
I thwart all I can, but there will forever
be sounds that lure me in
Sounds I cant help but succumb to
Noises that are better off left for others
to decipher
Silence will come, when I take my final breath
