This Couldn't Have Gotten Any Better

That promise never felt so real
Shattered glass on the floor we feel
When the sun comes up you know it
To true the fact that I broke it
Yet the sheets tell the story of a lie
With a one line try and a ten shot win
Liquor always leads us to pretend
To mend and bend the mouths
Let the words drip into the ground
Forgotten phrases will never see
We are as fake as we want to be
Can't play this game honestly
But honestly, this couldn't not have gotten any better
Sign off the night with a fake love letter
