You tell me to let people in
Show them the real me
The one locked inside
You call me deep, inspirational
I laugh, HA! You know nothing!
I hide inside, alone
Every time someone sees
Things change, happen
You tell me to let people see
Let them know who I truly am
One day I willwhen I know they truly care
Ive hidden for so long
Youre the only one left whos seen
Who I can be, am, will always be
I live with masks, a fake life
One day theyll seewho I am inside
But now, Id rather just have
One who knowsbelieves in me.
