HARRY HOUDINI IS STEALING THE SHOW

Contributed by hray42 on Sunday, 11th March 2012 @ 08:54:42 PM in AEST
Topic: fictional

Harry Houdini is stealing the show
he is doing this wherever he goes
you can chain him up, locked good and tight
he's gonna get out, right before your keen sight
how does he do it? what is his secret?
please let us know, Harry don't keep it!
don't hold your breath, he'll hold his
he's an artist, a puzzle, an escaping wiz
you can suspend him from heights, even upside down
he's the death defying king, he wears the crown
does he turn into mist? maybe just vaporize?
he does it over and over in front of our eyes
he has the strength of many, and the grace of few
sit down! be quiet! try to guess what he'll do
there he goes! he's at it again!
he's submerged in water, and look at how long it has been!
i've never seen anything quite like this guy
he's a showman, a hero, and he'll never die!
oh Mr. Houdini, the world is so into you
bring on the ropes, the locks, and the straitjackets too
for the price of a ticket you can watch this great star
a master of tricks, and of feats so bizarre
his slight of hand is a thing of pure legend
but how it is done of course goes unmentioned
wherever the performance, wherever the stage
he's gonna come through, this magnificent mage
so, tell all of your friends, let everyone know
Harry Houdini is here, and he's stealing the show...
