Trapped Soul

Contributed by waynster on Monday, 12th March 2012 @ 06:40:51 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Sad are the eyes
My soul peeking through
Always on the search
Looking for something new

The soul is trapped
In this body that is here
Wanting to flee
But goes no where

Must be a horrible place to reside
Full of Sadness and pain
Trying to flee this body
Again, and again

Sad are the eyes
Sometimes tears slowly fall
A painful soul
Is behind these eyes in this skull

Must be sadness
From a another persons former soul
It is afraid to leave
Terrified of where next it may go

Instead of fleeing
The sad soul remains trapped in me
Peeking through sad eyes
Only sadness is what you see

If this soul
Could find a matched heart from the past
To where it would go
The dimensions are vast

Sometimes I feel the pain
Of a soul that kicks and screams
I feel the pain of a soul
A soul full of dreams

So look at these eyes
Imagine what you see
Only be weary
To your body it does not flee.

some times there are simply no words to describe the beauty of words that touch one on so many levels and your poem/poetry has done that to me.. because i know so well the feeling myself in my own personal story. well done is all i can say. you have a brilliant way with words.....i wish that i could convey words as you have here....
