i set my boat adrift on placid waters not knowing what dangers lie beneath sometimes i feel like a lamb to a slaughter after being stripped of my dear fleece in my boat i hope to make the other side i let the wind take me where it will many times i have done this, i have tried yet i never got to where i wanted still i wonder what is on that other shore? is it so different from what i've always known? i wish to fill my boat with something more from over there, where many a rock i have thrown it is that other side that i have never been on the place that has haunted many of my dreams it will not be this time, for the wind is now gone i will never know what's over there it seems...

Are these poems you have written in the past? Are they poems you write so very often? It doesn't matter, what is important is that you continue with your gift of writing. You have a way of blending words as well. Your poems are almost same to mine, but yet not quite the same. That does not really matter either. What matters is that what you write is great! keep it up. |

Now here is a rare piece. One with deep thought and metaphorical meaning. I LOVE this poem. I will be checking out your other works. :) |
