LONELY TEARS

If we all live long enough We'll all share lonely tears. Remembering joys and heartaches That we shared down through the years.
But the many tears of the lonely Are not unique to us alone. It is the way of life dear friend, Loved ones sometimes must leave home.
But joy comes in the morning, Where all tears are wiped away. Comfort one another with the knowledge, We are heading home too, one bright day.
Weeping is a sacred way To hold love missed in our heart. But joy is surely coming Which from us will not depart.

This is comforting. I have been doing a lot of weeping lately. |
