through my half typed messages,
i can't explain,
can u feel the rest?,
hiding behind my eyes,
there are no real sunsets,
only you.

did those days leave?
away with the tumbleweeds?
were they only a mirage?
tropical visions in a desert romance?

i fear ill never be,
what you wanna see,
but for you id try,

id become a mirage,
taken with the wind,
if it meant being close to you.
