The Words Dance Behind My Eyes
The words dance behind my eyes As I stand, forgetting rhyme. Their singing blinds me As I try to capture time
Unseen the ink bleeds Into my mind, unsatisfied, As with a raging cadence The words dance behind my eyes

Awesome and I can certainly relate. I learned back in 1979 that when I couldn't sleep to spill my head on poetry or writing in general.
I found that it runs down both sides of my bloodline all the way to Ireland.
Keep it up.
blessings,
