this loneliness is suffocating, i am wearing it like old skin
i do not know where it ends, or where it begins
it is in my stomach, felt at my core
it is making my heart hurt, and making my body sore
i feel as if i have fallen overboard into a sea of desperation
i have felt this way since our sudden separation
i miss you, therefore i am lonely
i cannot eat or sleep, i can breath only
and if i breath, then i live
but exist without love to give
this loneliness will be the death of me
a death that may set my soul free
for i do not wish to have this any longer
because with each moment this devil grows stronger
it is the most powerful opponent i have ever faced
it has left me hopeless and without taste
without taste for life and love
with nothing left, nothing to dream of
i leave you with this final thought
hide from loneliness, and do not be caught...
