so cherished in this life
I wonder if they know
just what I would do
or how far I would go
so precious in my life
more than all that's in this world
I thank god everyday
for my 5 girls
sometimes they get discouraged
& they don't know what to do
what way can I say to them
your dad is here for you
at any given moment
on any given day
I try my best to express
the words I need to say
oh yes I could tell them
& I really believe I do
but I cannot help but wonder
do they know it's true

| What do we need in this world right now but good fathers! Anyone who shouts from the rooftops their love as a father is great in my books and that is coming from a single mother! |
