Over the moon,
under the weather.
Delicate feelings
like the birds of a feather.
The cost of a word,
the price of a friend.
Remembering the good times,
while knowing it's the end.
Hold on regardless,
make a blind leap of faith.
Strive to be better,
or carry your dreams to the grave.
Tipping the tables,
a soft soothing smile.
Another heart broken,
Before the sunrise.
Sleeping is dying,
dreaming keeps us alive.
Forgetting the yesterdays,
un-remembering the strife.
