Have you ever heard about people
Who point shotguns at UFO's?
How brilliant those folks are you say,
So sit back and watch the show!
And then there is another group
Who enter abandoned homes.
They will tell you to please keep quiet,
So they may hear any ghosts they know.
Have you ever taken a turkey bone
And broken it while making a wish?
Just who will answer the wish you made?
You might as well have broken toy fish.
Please don't step on a sidewalks crack.
If you do someone breaks their back.
Anti intellectual should be defined today
As people who are really whacked.
I know of people right here in my county
Who raise pythons in their mobile homes,
That have escaped killing children and pets.
What planet are these morons from?
I know where these folks gather in mass
So you had better just drive right past.
It is called by the name of Congress.
If doctors they'd be known as quacks.

This one spurs on the processing of the thought juices. Gotta wonder about some of those people (he says agreeing with the term "morons").
Not so sure I'm with you on the second stanza, though, unless the pic you posted with this doesn't apply to everything in the poem. I believe in God and Christ but I also believe there is something else out there...ghost, spirits, unexplained phenomena. I've seen things and heard things. Locked doors coming open on their own, for example. I am definitely not an atheist but nonetheless, have seen things happen.
Anyway, you did well on this one, at least in my humble opinion. It gets one thinking.
