If anyone could understand,
or feel the strong desire,
to know the true meaning,
of a heart on fire,
a poet write's there feelings,
coming from the heart,
some will fill you up with love,
some will make you fall apart,
it must come from reality,
of lifes ups & downs,
in a true poets eye's
it makes the world go around,
I say this from experience,
of many writing years,
life can be so beautiful,
or let you drown in tears,
& if it's any good,
only time will show it,
trust me I know I've been there,
I'm the hot shot poet,
