Pyramids stand firmly On waves of sand in the distance. As grainy sand scratches my tongue, The sphinx stares down upon me, Her breath touches my cheeks, Carrying dust from long ago. I suddenly hear the shrieking of silence. I am alone and helpless among the ancients, Sucked into a world of brown, Lost in the midst of a never-ending dream.
