I sit here at my desk
just writing on & on
not realizing part of my doings
were absolutely wrong
at first I felt offended
until I saw that it was me
just trying to bring a smile
& show my girls what they could be
I thought they were too young
so I listed on my site
the poems that they had wrote
just so they could see them right
at the bottom of their poetry
I made sure it had their names
I'm proud of my daughters
so I am the one to blame
I already have one daughter on here
two more soon on their way
this way they can express their self
with what they have to say
I admit I'm a little slow
things don't always come out right
I'll assure that I will do my best
at least try with all my might

Don't beat yourself up over this, Roy. Like you said, you're only human. I'm only human too. Also a proud pop, even though I only got one daughter, I understand.
Things happen. Take care of yourself (and those kids) and keep writing.
Poetry = good therapy.
