Boiled blankets leave no stains, no blood or rust from crusted chains. A choking cry is all that's heard, to bury it now is just absurd.
Boiled blankets leave no stains, of twisted metal, whips or canes. Taking refuge in his cell, damp memories beckon a different hell.
Boiled blankets leave no stains, hear now the screech of distant cranes. To glide like them above the clouds, is envy draped in stagnant shrouds.
Boiled blankets leave no stains, a childhood fear that rips and bane's. A witnessed act that broke his mind and left his spirit most unkind.
Boiled blankets left no stains, a body found in sunk black drains. He hunts more now, speed in tow, families grieve; they do not know.

I expected a humorous piece from the title, and yet I did not leave unsatisfied. This piece is very deep and very original. well written my friend. |
