In my shoes ( A mothers message )

In my shoes

I read the write and understood, those words that hurt me the way only you could.
How could you think whats not true? So much you scribed to make me blue.
I did my job ,I loved you well. You must hate me, your letters tell.

You judge me hard, you think you know, I kept you safe and watched you grow.
Now your all grown up and Im no good . Would you walk a while in my shoes if you could?
I hope someday you have the truth in all the things that are. I love you now , I loved you then
And Ill love you from afar.

Your words touched me deeply. I am in your shoes. You put into words the hurt and anger I feel, gave vent to the anguish. I go through this every day, but believe that in the end, God will see us through. When my kids grow up finally, I hope they realize what they've done. Besides, karma will bite. Great write - thank you for your words.
