I think of you out on the high way,
driving alone,I think all day,
Wishing I could be there,
in all you & the kids share,
But I'm making money,
for all of us Honey,
I know theres times you think I dont care,
but really I just want to be there,
I love you, more than words can say,
theres not enough hours in the day,
to tell you how much you are thought of,
my beautiful wife whom which I love,
I'm just a trucker,trying to succeed,
getting the things we all need,
its not forever,its only for a while,
So come on now give me a smile,
When you cry,as I leave,
It hurts me too,if you believe,
At home with the kids & you,
Is where my heart is loyal & true,
So when I'm driving all I do is think,
thinking of you guys my heart does sink,
I will love you now & till the very end,
because you are my only friend,
I said this to you 7 years ago,
My hearts with you I hope you know,
when you think of me lying at night in bed,
what keeps me going,is thoughts of you in my head,
I married the best thing in the world to me,
who gave me two special gifts,to our family,
My promise is I'll do the best I can,
To forever be your loving man!

Rob, you dont know me, Im Michelle used too be over the road trucker with my husband. Been off for three years now but my honey still drives a big truck. This poem is a beautiful gift too lovely Christina!! Great job!! Happy anniversary too the both of you. Many safe trips too you out on that long highway!! 10-4

dear rob, i was able to see this when it first came online and i was in tears, it was like someone else was speaking to me through your poem, you'd said'shh' lol, so i figured we should wait to comment, till sweet christine saw your lovely poem, rob it's beautiful, {and your cute way of showing her} i gave u a 5 then fell asleep, to me this is a special poem on our site, the love and devotion held within', took me way way back, i know christine's shown you my poetry, you guys are the best, {..dont forget to take holidays and tell the dispatchers to go u know where n' kiss your u know what every so often,} hugs n' happiness to you both forever, n' bunches of love to youse, nessa

This is wonderful. Such a fantastic poem and what an incredible anniversary present. You two are so lucky to have each other and never forge that (not that I think you will). It is so nice to see two people so in love with each other.
