In these other countries
people just like you & me
they do their best to stand so tall
for everyone to see
Forbidden to speak there minds
nobody question's why
For the one's that do they pay
without judgement they will die
A sentence made so selfishly
It's been this way some time
There shot down so thoughtlessly
no matter what the crime
The heart's are broke in families
not knowing what they'll do
Now I ask you do you think
These things are really true
According to the news
& the papers that I read
These things are truly happening
They are so true indeed
the hot shot poet

Well written with much truth. I dont watch the news much, it numbs my heart at times.
