another beautiful day
kicked in the butt
it's still pretty early
& the door just shut
she's mad once again
I have no clue why
I wont find the answer
because I wont even try
I've dealt with this mess
for too many years
now I'm seeing my children
with angry tears
I will not tolerate
nothing hurting my kids
not even their feelings
the way my dad did
no matter what anyone thinks
they are my life
I'd give up my breath
even my wife
I'd be dead without them
this is a fact
they must always know
I've got their back
that is my job
that's what I do
I show my kids
a love that is true
it never goes away
it's forever more
I love my children
it's what my forever is for
the hot shot poet
