Hopeless romantic with no hope. Cursed but with no curse there would be no words just sweet somethings that were really nothings that were only sometimes really heard Can't sleep dreams become just winks Eyes that were once full of blithe are now restless full of dim
Glass filled waterless sand, souless island in the middle of nowhere land and still... waves neglect to take away the past.

I LOVE this poem. So much truth within your beautiful magic of words! I especially love how you call yourself a hopeless romantic without hope. I have often felt like the world has turned its back on me, and yet... I cannot help my nature. I want to create something beautiful. Whether it is writing... or a relationship, or a simple footprint in the sand, I find romance in everything. |
