Guess I'll get dressed and brew some tea,
look at some pic's of you and me,
try to imagine you here to sit,
Am I losing my mind? I need to quit!
Or I could go walk along the shore,
there is that chance running in to you,
we did meet there a time or two-
The heavy rain I'll just ignore!
Or I could try out a new hairdo,
to change my looks from when with you,
and wait in the Tavern down the street,
Surely this is where you'll be.
Or I could keep picturing us in our favorite booth,
where we raised more than a glass or two,
or i could go my whole life through,
being hopelessly in love with you.
Or I could try and start anew,
won't be the same tho- without you.
I'll fine another, wait you'll see;
Or I could just be fooling me.
I just remembered another place,
maybe if you just saw my face
you would hold me in your warm embrace,
Or I could be a hopeless case!
