It will be OK I promise
Take a little of my strength
Take a little of my courage
As you lent me yours when I needed it most
Don't feel bad
Don't feel guilty
Don't push me away
Don't think it's not fair to ask for my help
You held me when I was falling
You taught me how to laugh again
You gave me a friend with no conditions
You were right there by my side through the thick
So let me in, you can lean on me
I'll do my best to lighten your load
An remember friendship is double sided
You made me believe it will be OK, I promise you it will be even better

| What a strong, true statement on the powers of friendship. It brought memories back to me and made me smile. I lost my best friend a few months ago. Your words brought her smile to my heart. Great write. Thank you for sharing. |
