And the Words

Contributed by northernlights on Friday, 27th April 2012 @ 04:03:30 PM in AEST
Topic: poets

Tenderness floods thoughts and wry smiles bring ripples

Of softness, and the day is washed away to the soothing of

Voice and softly plucked guitar, and I can breathe, and feel

And be, just me and my world , feeling the touch of

Peace enveloping my being in a bubble of momentry bliss.

And the words have carried the clouds away, a door ajar on
A sunlit spring day,

A soul at rest bathed in music

Eyes close and heart opens.

Beauty stops at the edge of tears
And instead leaves its balm

Soothing the aftermath of creativity

Still waters

And I am.

She has a great voice and listening to her I could see how this poem seemed to melt right into the beauty of her voice. Two awesome ladies, these ladies Anna & Eva. :)

Hi Anna,

''In sweet music is such Art,
killing care and grief of heart.''

Shakespeare .... now there was a man who
knew what he was talking about - or was it
Christopher Marlowe???

Being moved by music applies to all, but the
ability to put those emotions into words
applies to so few. You have just done so .......
with sweet applomb!

Tommy
