Why can I still not get over this shadow that seems to lurk.
It rattles my brain over and over, as I think why wont anything work.
I see what I lust for day after day.
Thats when I realise how heavy my heart really does weigh.
This feeling feels like it should just evaporate from my mind.
Yet I still cant shake it off, why does love have to be so blind.
Every word from her mouth, every time our eyes meet.
Just fills me with happiness as my heart beats an extra beat.
Just stay in my life, if only for a while.
What Id give to wake up, next to that face and that smile.
