My sweet anodyne,
With the stars in your eyes,
Look how they shine,
I am all yours, so I hope you're all mine.

Your voice, beautifully calming,
Your eyes, so handsomely charming.
Your face, amazingly alarming,
I've tried to keep you from self-harm.

You stood by me when no one else did,
You helped me through my pain, my everything.

My sweet anodyne,
Your love, your touch is divine.
I'm so ecstatic with you, on cloud nine,
Your touch, your love is divine.

You can see the sparks fly,
The wild look in our eyes.
We've discovered an old magic,
Left the rest alone to cry.
