Although youre gone
You had to depart
You still reside
In my soul and heart:
Youre a whisper
Thatll keep me sane
And teach me how
To live once again;
Youre a belief
Thatll live within me
To strengthen my soul
And set my heart free;
As a memory
Youll make me smile
And lift me up
In every trial.
Though youre gone
I know Ill be alright,
For you are as real
As these words I write.
