I threw my trust to a bottomless pit
thats constantly hungry to fill a void
staring endlessly and crying for it
because its no use
frantically searching for a way
to make splintered ends meet
you're setting fire to my body
my body drenched in gasoline
there's a look on your face
that i know well enough to recall in dreams
its derived from insane motive
but is never what it seems
you're in control
and that sets off a grin
because as long as they lose
darling you win
youre whispering sweet nothings
to the remains you've destroyed mercilessly
"baby, you know i love you too"
i love you too, infinitely.
