You dug a hole in my heart
And planted your seed of love
Deepening its roots in my heart
Enlightening it to your everlasting love
You picked me up from my most depressing state
And guided me through the state of recovery
Staying with me all the way
Shining the light of blissfulness towards me
Seeing you smile brightens up my darkest days
A sweet feeling arises from my center being
Out of all the gloom and sorrow
Blossoms a perpetual joy in me
Your happiness is the felicity of my being
To see you shivering Ill give you a hug
Wrapping our arms around each other
Radiating warmth to your body
Now that you left me and moved on
Your footsteps remain on the surface of my heart
A sign of your love you once gave me
Vanishing into the deep realms of my unconsciousness
