I'm kinda glad it happened
& I really don't feel bad
The only thing you'll miss
is what you can never have

no use to say you're sorry
For I already know
You're as sorry as they get
but that's the way it goes

I've learned a real good lesson
& I owe it all to you
I was told you were a fake
& now I see it's true

sometimes it takes a lesson
to see I've been betrayed
now thanks to your lesson
I've learned to write this way

I don't find it unusual
nor do I find it strange
some people never grow up
nor do they ever change
the hot shot poet
