She's made it this far
and she may think she's nothing
her whole life has been a trial
but she's still the world
Always searching and never finding
she wants to give up
but she'll finish
she's the world
Her life's the story of disarray
it's not fair and she knows it
but she faces adversity
while remembering she's the world
She's many different people
all she wants is to be accepted
and live without fear
but she can't, she's the world
At the end of the line
she's looking back
she knows she did all she could
and that's good enough
becaus she was the world
