my brother's home from school
and he's had a long day
he comes downstairs and hugs me
and says never go away
here i am 17 and he is ten years younger
when he says he loves me
im glad he is my brother.
i only wish he understood
the hell that im put through
when he breaks my heart like this
the love is sincerely true
there really is no better feeling
of love in a child's heart
especially when it's directed to you
right from the very start
and so i made a promise
in which i intend to keep
that no matter where life takes me
this love will always run deep.
i could not leave him if i tried
for he is truly loved
i do not know if there is evil
but definitely good above.
this child is and always was
my unbirthed little boy
he's my beautiful little brother
and his name is Austin Roy.
