Will I ever find someone just for me
Someone to have and hold inside my heart
Someone to lean on me as on a tree
Someone to give my life a fresh new start
A girl as sweet as a fresh apple pie
A girl with a smile as bright as the sun
A girl who to my face will never lie
A girl who is kind and is very fun
But I know I will never find her
I have passed up the chance to find the girl
Thus leaving me in a state of torture
Twas my fault that these events unfurled
I look at couples and I wonder why
Why I'm on the ground when they're in the sky
