To walk the extra mile. It means to soar past others in the rest of the pile. To walk the extra mile. It means to go further than others and make your time worthwhile. Why do I walk the extra mile? Is it so others can recognize me and not look at me as an exile? No, I walk the extra mile because, well, that is just my style. I walk the extra mile so when people want to be me, they can't walk a mile in my shoes. I walk the extra mile so when people want to compete with me, the result is I win and they lose. Unlike other slackers, I don't walk, I run. I shoot out fast like a bullet that came out of gun. So don't get surprised when I do better than you and I wiped off on your face what you call a smile. The reason why I did better than you was because I walked the extra mile.

Dear poet,
You have the idea to rhyme finely
That is not for poetry sufficient
Rhyme is only the structure
We must put a soul into it
Experience alone will help
To give us great thoughts
Rhyme and deep meaning
Will make ours outstanding
I beg you to reduce words
So that poem is damn smart
Though free verse is acceptable
Your rhyme gives me happiness
Please rhyme and make poem thin
But, the meaning must be thick
You can surely do that trick
Begin and you will definitely win.
With best wishes, Thanking you, Yours truly,
mvvenkataraman
