Topic: MiscPoems

I do not read the paper
because all I seem to see
is where a child has gone missing
death & tragedy

someone took a life today
or left someone for dead
has this world gone crazy
or is it in my head

what is it with the killing
the hurting of a child
why would someone hurt the innocense
of a heart so meak & mild

I'd like to see the paper
on a day when all it had
are stories about happiness
& nothing going bad

happiness brought to a family
who did'nt have a home
or somebody fell in love
& will never be alone
the hot shot poet
